Application Publishing Guidelines
Content, intellectual property, security, and ecosystem rules you must follow before publishing to the TopArrow market.
Version: 1.1
Content, intellectual property, security, and ecosystem rules for applications published on the TopArrow Marketplace.
1. Content Requirements
Applications must not contain political propaganda, hate speech, discrimination, pornography, extreme violence, illegal content, or other prohibited material.
Applications must not promote illegal activities, impersonate others, mislead users, or contain fraudulent or deceptive functionality.
2. Copyright and Intellectual Property
2.1 Publisher Responsibility
Publishers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to publish, distribute, modify, and commercially sell their applications.
This responsibility covers all included materials, including source code, images, icons, fonts, audio, video, documents, libraries, and other resources.
Publishing an application on TopArrow constitutes a declaration that the publisher has the necessary rights and permissions.
2.2 Third-Party Materials
Publishers must respect the intellectual property rights of others.
- Publicly available code or resources are not necessarily free to use or redistribute.
- Materials obtained from GitHub or other public repositories must be used in accordance with their applicable licenses.
- Commercially licensed materials must have appropriate permissions for their intended use, including redistribution where applicable.
- AI-generated or AI-modified content does not automatically guarantee freedom from third-party intellectual property claims.
- Applications must not misuse third-party trademarks, names, logos, or other protected identities.
2.3 Open-Source Licenses
Applications incorporating open-source software must comply with all applicable license requirements, including attribution, preservation of copyright notices, license distribution, and source-code disclosure where required.
Publishers must not remove or falsify required copyright or license information.
TopArrow's publishing and revenue-sharing rules do not replace or override third-party licenses.
2.4 Derived Applications
Publishers of derived applications must respect the rights and applicable licenses of the original and intermediate authors.
Applications must not remove, conceal, or falsify their version lineage within the TopArrow ecosystem.
Version lineage and revenue sharing do not, by themselves, establish or grant intellectual property rights.
2.5 Infringement Complaints and Removal
TopArrow provides a process for intellectual property rights holders to report suspected infringement.
Upon receiving a sufficiently detailed complaint, TopArrow may investigate and take appropriate action, including:
- Requesting additional information or proof of authorization.
- Temporarily suspending an application's listing, downloads, or sales.
- Removing infringing content or applications.
- Suspending disputed earnings where permitted by applicable law and Marketplace terms.
- Restricting or terminating accounts involved in repeated or serious infringement.
Publishers may submit explanations, license information, authorization documents, or counter-notifications to dispute complaints or request reinstatement.
TopArrow does not guarantee that every published application is free from intellectual property infringement. Publishers remain responsible for the materials they submit.
3. User Rights Protection
Applications must not collect, transmit, disclose, or misuse user data without appropriate authorization.
Applications must not contain forced advertising, unauthorized promotional content, deceptive redirects, hidden tracking, or misleading payment mechanisms.
Personal information, credentials, private documents, or other sensitive user data must not be included in published application packages without appropriate authorization.
4. Technical Security Requirements
Applications must not contain malware, backdoors, unauthorized remote-control functions, cryptocurrency mining code, or other harmful behaviors.
Required code and static resources must be packaged with the application and must not depend on unauthorized external resources.
External APIs must be lawful, publicly documented or otherwise properly authorized, and their use must be clearly disclosed to users.
Applications must not perform undisclosed network communication, execute unauthorized external code, or circumvent TopArrow's security restrictions.
5. TopArrow Ecosystem Rules
Applications should support local operation, user modification, and version tracking.
Publishers must provide accurate application descriptions and must not misrepresent functionality, authorship, licenses, or version history.
Transactions conducted through the TopArrow Marketplace must comply with its payment, distribution, and revenue-sharing rules.
Applications must not manipulate Marketplace transactions, falsify derivation relationships, or evade applicable revenue-sharing obligations.
6. Enforcement and Appeals
TopArrow may review applications through automated systems, AI-assisted analysis, manual inspection, or user and rights-holder reports.
TopArrow may reject, suspend, remove, or restrict applications that violate these Guidelines.
Publishers may appeal enforcement decisions and submit supporting evidence.
TopArrow may update these Guidelines to address legal requirements, security risks, and Marketplace operations.
